Bashkir State Medical University (BSMU) is one of the premier medical universities in Russia, ranking 10th spot among medical colleges in the country. The University is located in Ufa, Russian Federation, which is one of the largest and most scenic cities in Russia. BSMU is founded in 1932, making it one of the oldest universities in Russia. Bashkir State Medical University has been licensed by the Ministry of Education of Russian Federation to train international students. As per latest information, there are at least 500 full-time faculty members for MBBS program at BSMU.

The duration for MBBS degree in OSU is 6 years, with 5 years of theory/classroom/practical learning and the last 1-year of internship. English language used for teaching Indian and international students. Russian is also available as a subject for Russian speaking nationals.
Hostel facilities in Bashkir State Medical University:
Bashkir Medical University has overall five hostels, to accommodate 2000 students.
All rooms in the hostel have attached kitchen and washrooms. The occupancy in each hostel room is based on choice and budget. But maximum only 3 people are allowed in one room. All the rooms are well furnished, well ventilated and air- conditioned. Apart from Internet access, students also get TV set in their common areas. Indian TV channels are also subscribed for student’s entertainment. All the rooms are under CCTV surveillance for the safety of the students. Bed linens are provided at the time of occupancy, washed once in a week, while hostel rooms are cleaned everyday.
